This global classroom project is for students aged 8 to 11 years old.

Themes are chosen by students! Photos are taken by students!

Teachers, please fill in contact details here and ask to join this wiki!

Photos are uploaded to our group pool on Flickr. The video at the bottom of this page is helpful in setting up an account, but please not that you can use your Google ID or Facebook account if you don't want to create a Yahoo user. We recommend that you create a general class account so that students have access as well.

If you do not have access or do not want to create a Flickr account, you can email photos to the project coordinators and we can add the photos to the group pool. Important information to include with photos in the description box on Flickr or to accompany an email is:

Student first name or first initial

general location

The second video offers information about descriptions and tagging. Please include a tag for the theme and your country for future organization information.

Near the end of every month, we post a poll to vote on our next theme. The poll is created from a selection of suggestions shared on our Wall Wisher page and students can visit the wiki to vote. The new theme will be announced here on the wiki and students can begin taking photos!

A slide show is created at the end of each theme to share our photos from around the world. The slide show is displayed here on the wiki and slide shows for previous themes can also be found on their page.
